I always knew that love would come find me somedaybut never did I know that it would be you who was headed my way

You caught me off guard and took me by surprisebut you simply captivated me, the same way you do when I look into your eyes

It’s true that every good and perfect gift is from above

You were presented to me as a beautifully packaged gift full of humor, talent, intelligence, and love

“it isn’t finding the perfect person but learning to see an imperfect person perfectly”

we all have our flaws but when I view you through my eyes, perfection is all I see

From when you laugh to when you’re upset, I still love the little things you do

especially hearing you laugh and seeing your nose wrinkle the same way mine does too

coming into this relationship has been hard at times but we’ve made it through

I know as long as we’re on this journey together, there’s nothing that we can’t do.

Sometimes I wonder if what we have is too good to be true

too scared to get my heart broken and scared of the thought of losing you

but in the end, I trust in the Author and Perfecter of what I believe

because what we ask for in Him, we in return shall receive

“Where your treasure is, your heart will be also” is how the saying goes

I may not know what tomorrow may bring, for God is the only one who knows

the one thing I do know is that you are my one and only

a treasure in my heart that I want to devote my whole life to completely

I know I don’t need to prove my feelings to know they’re true

because what I’ve known in my past, doesn’t come close to the experience I’ve shared with you

I’ve had the experience of being in relationships before

however, this is the first time I’ve been truly happy… I couldn’t ask for anything more

it’s an honor to know that I am yours, as you are mine

and I trust God that He’ll bring us together in His beautiful time

For now, I’ll be waiting patiently for that day when we’ll be togetherthat precious moment in time when I’ll say,

“it’s you that I want to be with forever”

God made everything beautiful, precious and new

just as beautiful and precious as the day will be, when I look into your eyes and say,

“I Love You”

How prayer works…

Prayer is a triumph, in whatever form.

God answers prayers in FOUR forms: YES, NO, YES but not as you expected and WAIT.

God often grants the petitions we ask for him especially when we put Him first in our lives. GOD MAY sometimes ANSWER  “NO”. There may be times when God denies our requests . We must trust that God, who knows what is best, would do so, only if granting our request might not be for our good. GOD MAY also ANSWER “YES, BUT NOT AS YOU THINK…” Sometimes God answers in a way differently than we may anticipate. Remember, His thoughts and methods are much different than ours. Lastly, GOD MAY ANSWER “YES, BUT WAIT…” God may grant our request, but in time and according to His purpose so we may think God is saying “No”, when He is really saying “Yes, but wait”.

God has offered to answer the prayers of his children (those who have received him into their lives and seek to follow him). He asks us to take any concerns to him in prayer and he will act upon it according to his will. As we deal with difficulties we are to cast our cares on him and receive from him a peace that defies the circumstances. The basis for our hope and faith is the character of God himself. The better we know him, the more apt we are to trust him.

Crossroads of life :)

Sometimes, when I look back and think of all the “could-have-beens” in my life, I often wonder: did I make the right choice? did I miss a road sign? am I on the right track?

CROSSROADS…

They happen all the time –saying goodbye to some, choosing only one. Letting go, holding on… settling for now, but facing what must come…

Yes, in life we all reach a crossroad sometime. We make painful decisions and take some risks as we pursue our dreams. But one should not stay at the CROSSROADS too long. For even the birds have to leave their nests sometime and learn how to fly. Life’s road is long and rough, and there are stretches when one has to do it all alone. And should you meet the cross at the road, be consoled.

Yes, more often than not, the road less traveled will surely bring you home. Face the light and the shadow falls behind you. Turn your back and the shadow stays in front of you.

Indeed, the truth hurts, but it will surely set you free. The bitter pangs of parting will give birth to another moment called growing. So grow on… until it’s time for you to move on…and face the crossroads again, knowing that God loves you and is in control of everything.

Be strong at the crossroads. Embrace the CROSS at the ROAD. The Lord is at the cross, at the road, at all your CROSSROADS…
